I will start you out with a book mark and what a fitting bookmark it is.Because you'll need a bookmark when you visit Nikko!All of his books can travel around the world twice.Below is the list of things you will need.You put a lot of your power when you cross stitch so your really cross stitching magic into you work! |

| What you will need 1.14 count cross stitch fabric 2.embroidery hoop.(its not required,but it helps) 3.Embroidery floss, your choice of colors but you will need at least 4 colors. 4.Scissors 5.A blunt cross stitch needle |
| What to Do "If you are familliar with the basics you may start but if you are not here's an easy way to learn.First find the center of you fabric.Fold you fabric in half vertically open the fabric then fold horizontally where the creases meet that will be your center.Now your ready to begin stitching.Knots might show through so thread you needle and bring it through the fabric but leave an inch or two remaining and once you begin to stitch go over it then clip it off.Each square has four holes in it.Bring your needle through one hole and go diagonally into the next so it looks like this / a half of an X. now do the same thing with the other side.So now it should look like a full X.You have just made a complete cross stitch.Now just follow your pattern.To do a back stitch go through one hole and come down,then go through the next hole back to the one with the thread and keep going until your you have all the back stitches you require.When your done you can frame it or just keep it in the hoop.Happy Stitching." |
