| Shawn Crahan, the crazy clown mothafucka is number 6, Percussion A jack-of-all-trades drummer and co-founder of Slipknot. Shawn was a welder before joining the band. He is an admirer of painters Cezanne and Picasso, and has a drumkit made from titanium, the same material as the Nasa Space Shuttle. "I've wanted to be a clown because there's something pretty nice about me and something pretty twisted as well. If someone stares at me on my way to the stage, I don't get up until they look away first." Shawn has twice cut his forehead during the same song, and has suffered countless other injuries during performances, but insists on continuing. "I've always believed that brutality balances you out. It's not fun unless someone gets hurt. I don't want any of my kids getting hurt out there so, fucking better beat me. I'm so into it I don't give a fuck." On the Howard Stern show, Shawn shit in a bucket and gave it to him as a momento of their visit. Shawn's influences include Kiss and Motley Crue. "I play drums because of Peter Criss (Kiss).
