Bishops Palace - Wells

Somerset is famous for its Winter Carnival.  The event takes place every year in November  - It lasts for about two weeks   travelling in all main Somerset  Towns. 

The floats are amazing,  lots of hard work go into making these beautiful  processions. They start almost straight after the procession on next years designs!

ALL of the money raised goes to local charities. Floats (including costumes) for the procession are made by local  men and women and businesses, who all give their time and energy voluntarily.
A REALLY FANTASTIC EFFORT!
