| In our life we might have lots of friends but how many of them are friends for a lifetime? We might be good friends with people for a time period; however, the friendships might soon dry out due to time, place, or situation. These are conditional friendship. That is why people are lucky to have true friends. Friends that are always there for you in good and bad times. Friends that are always there to support you. Friends who forgive and help you in time needed. Friendship will not dry out because you are far away. Basically a true friend is someone who cares about you and holds an important place in your heart. If you have one or two true friends, you are considered to be lucky because some people don�t even have one true unconditional friend in their life even though they might have a lot of conditional friends. If you have three or four true friends, you are extremely lucky. That is why one true friend is way better than hundreds of conditional friends. |

Best Friend: Sheren Tang Shui Man When people think of Maggie�s friend, Sheren Tang�s name will always pop up. Maggie and Sheren have been friends for a very long time. Both of them have gone through a lot of things together because they are always there for each other. They are just like two sisters and nobody can separate these two sticky dolls apart. Basically they are always together when you see them in premiere, concerts, restaurants. When one is sad, the other will cheer and protect. Seem like fate for Maggie and Sheren to become good friends since both of them are graduated from the same TVB�s acting class. They have acted in a few series together when they first started their acting career. However, Sheren is a lot luckier than Maggie is. Sheren�s career went very smoothly especially in the beginning of her career because she already got leading roles when she first joined the TVB big family. Maggie in the other hand, her career didn�t start that great because she played lots of supporting roles in the beginning. Maggie�s talent was finally noticed in 1990. She has acted in numerous memorable roles and help her won many awards and recognition. Her career started to shine; however, Sheren�s career started to shift downhill. Sheren decided to go back to school and stop acting for awhile. Their popularity always changes over time. Sometime Sheren is more popular and get more promoted by TVB or vice versa. In a fame and an easy to get jealous entertainment place, their friendships wasn�t affected and there didn�t seem to have any jealousy problems around them. They supported each other and their friendships continue to shine. Everyone should have known by now that 1999 wasn�t a very happy year for Maggie. Since Maggie is not an outspoken person, Sheren speaks up for Maggie. She seems very angry and asks the reporters to stop chasing Maggie around. Even though nobody know whether if Sheren�s words reflect to Maggie�s personal feeling at the time, but it is pretty clear that Sheren really care about Maggie. She doesn�t want to see Maggie get hurt and try to protect her. Both of them love to travel so whenever they have time, they will go travel together. They always address each other as their best friend. In an interview, a reporter ask Sheren whether if May Kwong is her best friend. Sheren immediately reply, �Maggie is my only best friend.�
Maggie didn�t seem to have a lot of good friends in the entertainment industry but I guess one good friend like Sheren Tang is enough. Because the quantity is not what matters, it is the quality of a friendship that counts.

Friend: Bowie Lam Bo Yee Maggie and Bowie become friends after working together. Even though they didn�t pair up together often onscreen, they actually work together in a numerous of series and movies together. They also go out together with their friends like to dinner and karaoke. Probably they might not be best friends but they do have a good and stable friendship with each other. Bowie addresses Maggie as his good friends in several of his interviews.
It is quite funny when Bowie and Maggie pair up again in their new movie, Fei Yik King Ching, because they have a kissing scene. Bowie found it weird kissing Maggie. He doesn�t mind kissing another actress but Maggie is a little different because they are good friends.

Friend: Gallen Lo Ka Leung Maggie and Gallen have paired up in many series together in the early 90s; therefore, they have become friends due to working together often. They seem very friendly to each other and didn�t seem to have any problems working together. They might not be best friends but both of them did address each other as their good friends in a few interviews.
In an interview, Gallen told the reporters that Maggie might looks stupid but she is actually beautiful and clever in real life. As for Maggie, she treats Gallen as her friend and hopes to pair up with him again in the future. Seem like she misses the old days where they always pair up together.
