Commented By: Kuji Date: 12/29/01 I start to notice Maggie in “The Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre”; however, I weren’t a fan yet. I don’t know who was Maggie Siu at that time, I just know I really like her character in the series, Siu Chiu. Not only she is pretty, smart, and mysterious, I especially like how she never asks for return when she offers her love out. She sure is an admiring and charming young lady. Basically, this is the first series that introduce me to Maggie. I did watch a few Maggie’s series after “HS&DS” but I still haven’t become her fan yet. Then ever since after watching “The Blood of Good and Evil”, I start to realize how great an actress she is. "BOGAE" is my favorite modern series and is also what causes me to like Maggie very much. I am very young at that time. I was still a very naïve girl, who basically doesn’t really know what an idol meant. I just know I really like this series and the actress who play Yee Ming really stand out from the crews and got my attention. After finish watching the whole series, I already determine Maggie Siu to be my second idol after Andy Lau. Ever since, I start to watch all of Maggie’s series that I know of. When I think back, I was pretty silly then:) I’m still silly now or why else I make this fansite, haha. Excuse my frankness:) I like Maggie for many year but not really a big fan like you might think me of. I won’t chase after my idols nor will I go wait for them. Probably I feel too old for those things and my liking toward stars are pretty neutral. Even though I look at Andy and Maggie as my only idols, I never really think myself as their good fans. Because I didn’t do much for my idols compared to other idols’ fans. Basically I don’t look at my idols as gods, I just support and appreciate them for their talents. But I know Andy and Maggie will always be two special stars to me because I grow up liking them ever since I am very young. When I think of all the years that I have like Maggie, I can’t believe I have like her for more than a decade already. I like her for so long because of her great talent in acting. Looks are not important to me when I look at an actor/actress, the acting is what matters. Looks can change but acting won’t. So no matter how good someone looks at a certain time, they will always age. So acting is what keep people’s heart. But of coarse if they can have both, that will be best lah, haha:) Maggie does have the acting and the look in my opinion. I always think Maggie has a pretty face, just that she doesn’t know how to make herself more prettier sometime. I do envy her big eyes, sweet smile, and perfect height:) But no matter what, her acting is what matters to me anyway. Undoubtly, Maggie was very famous in the early 90s. Basically those are her golden’s career years. That is why, I feel pity how her career went downhill in these past few years. Seem like majority of the people always like of the new and forget the old. What a pity:) Maggie is such a talented actress in my opinion, she deserves better. I really hope she will get better roles in the future. But no matter how big or how small her roles are, she always acted her best. I truly admire her for that. Maggie is a good actress but I think she still has space for improvement. Maggie never seem to have problems acting strong career-minded, mean, pitiful, or crazy characters, seem like a piece of cake to her. However, I always think she is pretty weak with comedian roles. I hope she can improve on those type of roles in the future. If Maggie did visit this site, I do hope I can say a few words to her. I hope she knows about this site. Not that I want her to know my hardwork on this homepage, but to know that there are still fans who support her and never given up on her. Maggie, I hope you will act more good series in the future. I’m still looking forward for another good series from you like “The Blood of Good and Evil”:) I always think that you never care much about yourself; instead, you care more for the people around you. Please love yourself more. I hope you will realize that when dreams die, new dreams will come. If you don’t love yourself, how can you expect people to love you? Be happy, be strong, be yourself.
