Maggie Siu's Hard Head Cries for Help: Dangerous Stunt Fall Down the Stairs
Written By: Anita

Entering the year of the Dog, Maggie Siu had her first filming accident injuring her head while doing a scene in "Conscience" that required her to roll down a flight of stairs. When the news came out, many of Maggie's friends were extremely worried about her. However, only good things befall on good people, Maggie's condition remained stabled and on Sunday (the 20th), she was released from the hospital to go home and rest. That night, she returned to TVB to work and went on with the filming of the series.

"Originally, the doctors recommended that Maggie take a few days off to fully rest up and recuperate. However the show -- Conscience -- is on such tight schedule and in its finishing stages that she had no choice, but to go back to work immediately," explained Daisy, Maggie's assistant.

"But there had been reports that the back of Maggie's brain is very swollen!"

"Ai-yah, not so at all. Maggie's head is swollen, but only on the back of head with a slight lump. Everything else checked out fine. The doctors did do a CAT scan on her brain that showed there was no head trauma or concussion. For safekeeping, they gave a medical prescription for her and told her to take for the next month."

"That must be a problem then."

"Nothing we can do. We just want her to recover soon. Before the accident, Maggie was working so hard day and night that her health deteriorated. Since the accident, I've only spoken to her a few times and at the hospital she said that she felt very weak. The doctors gave the prescription just for preventive purposes only."

"Actually, Maggie now is doing OK. Thank you very much for your concern," said Daisy.

"Where's Maggie now?," I asked.

"She's out on location."

"Then please give her my regards."

"Of course," replied Daisy happily.

My conversation with Daisy ended here, but knowing that Maggie's condition is good would put our minds at ease.
