| Zoe's got the bluest eyes... just like Aunt Cait. She has found her feet. She grabs them all the time now and tries to eat them. She rarely fusses, unless she's hungry. The girl knows when her belly needs food. She has started making this hilarious sound when she is happy. It sounds like she is gasping for breath, but she is just cracking up. She is always trying to sit up in her carseat and in the swing. She isn't a big fan of plain rice cereal, but the banana kind is ok- only if you leave the spoon in her mouth long enough for her to get a good taste. She likes to be tickled. Her smile melts my heart everyday. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Hayden loves to be close to me. She wants to touch everything. She refuses to sit down. Two days ago she rolled from her stomach to her back, but hasn't figured out how to roll from her back to her stomach. She can hold anything and can move it from one hand to the other. She likes to dance with me and is a big fan of Justin Timberlake. She loves the banana cereal and I've seen her start eyeing up anything I am eating too. Her cries demand attention and she takes a little longer to go to sleep. She is a big talker and I've caught her carrying on conversations with Maggie. I never knew I could love someone so much. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Easter was very exciting over at Nana and Pop-Pop's house. All the cousins were there to play with. I am looking forward to next year when the girls can participate in the egg hunt and get the full Easter experience. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Lots of stuff going on in the Johnston household. Russ and I are in the middle of trying to sell our house. It has been quite a lesson in learning to control clutter. The house looks great right now and I wonder if I really need any of the stuff we have moved out already. I was going to leave the saucer packed up until we moved but figured the girls should be able to enjoy it now. It is so awesome to watch them in it and see them figuring out how things work. Our friends, Beth and Andy, are getting married in June in Florida. We are leaving the girls with the grandparents, so I have been trying to get prepared for 3 nights away from my babies. I have done one and I only cried a little :( They are just changing and growing so fast, I don't want to miss anything. We are going to be selling the Jetta, yes my dream car. Time for an SUV that will hold the girls, the girls' stuff, and other passengers. I know everyone has grown tired of riding up in the dashboard. Hayd and Zo like looking out the windows now, so maybe a little extra height will give them a better view. Parenthood remains amazing, exhausting, and worth every minute. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
