Reaching

By: Maggie Griffin

Lost little girl, run far away.
Shadows will beckon, beg you to stay.
Hide in the darkness, shut out the call.
Sing you a lullaby, made to a lull.

Into the dreamscape, closing your eyes.
Into a madman, bold secrets and lies.
Shadow do beckon, must now turn away.
Taking a place, tell him you'll stay.

Using your mind, let yourself rise.
One who stays now, that is who dies.
Reach out a hand, let the bell sound.
Reach out a hand, little one found.

Into the dreamscape, closing your eyes.
Into a madman, bold secrets and lies.
