IMPERIAL TOPPER

 

 

 

Materials needed:
Program PSP 8 or 9
Plugin RCS Filter Pack 10
Mask Cris Taylor_36 (here)

Mask novoa here

A tube / image of your choice

 

1 - Open your image and resize to 270px in height
Edit > Copy, minimize

3 -Open a new canvas of  1024x 270 or 800 x 270px
Selection > Selection All
Edit > Paste Into Selection
Selection > Selection None

4 - Adjust > Blur > Average = 31

5 - Effects >Plugins > RCS Filter Pack 10 > RCS Digi-Lens-Flowers Cut,

with these settings:
 

 

Optional:  to lighten the background you can add a

new layer and floodfill it with white.

Change the opacity of the white layer to 50%
Layers > Merge Visible

6 - Effects > Edge Effects > Enhance
Safe and minimize for now

7 - Active the minimized tube
Layers > New Mask Layer > Load From Disk, find the nevoa mask

( the same as mask 20-20) and apply.
Layers > Delete
Layers > Merge Group
Edit > Copy, and minimize again

8 - Activate your background canvas again
Edit > Paste as New Layer

Use your Mover Tool to position your image

Layers > Merge Visible

9 - Layers > New Mask Layer > Load From Disk, find the

 mask CrisTaylor_39 and apply
Layers > Delete
Layers > Merge Group

10 - Add a new raster layer
Image > Canvas Size = 1024 x 300px or 800 x 300px

11 - Flood fill with a color that combines well with your image.

Layers > Merge > Merge Down

Use your Mover Tool to drag your topper layer into position
 

12 - Make sure your topper layer is active
Effects > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow of your choice
 

13 -Add your name or watermark
Layers > Merge All
