Andrew Tulips Background

 

Materials needed:
Program PSP 8 or 9

Mask Nevoa - or one of your own choice

**same as mask 20-20**
An Image or tube

Open your image in PSP and resize to 290 pixels in height
minimize . 

1- Choose two colors from your image

as foreground- and backgrond colors and make a gradient.

 

2- Open a new transparent canvas of 300 x 300px
Flood fill with the gradient.

 

3- Effects > Reflection Effects > Feedback , with these settings:
Opacity -73;

Intensity - 57;

 Vertical Off Set = -7%;

Horizontal Off Set = 1

 

4 -Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling > Factory Defaults

Change your foreground color to pattern and

select this image you have just made as pattern.

 

5- Open a new transparent canvas of 

1024 x300 pixels or 800 x 300pixels
Flood fill with the pattern.

 

6 - Effects > Edge Effects > Enhance More
Save your background and minimize for now

 

Activate your minimzed tube


7 -
Layers > Masks > Load From Disk, find the mask nevoa and apply.
Layers > Delete Mask layer and apply  "yes" to the question.
Layer > Merge Group
Edit > Copy

 

Activate your background canvas again.
 

8 - Edit >Paste As New Layer
Move the image in position where you like it.

 

9 - Add your name or watermark on a new layer.

 

10 -Layers > Merge All (Flatten)
