This couple were working together in the fields when we drove by.
We stopped and took a photograph of them at work.
You can see the house next to the field, and the great way they work together, and how everything is done at a steady but regulated pace.
The rice has been cut and the rice leaves have been cut for hay and stacked to dry for a week or so. When it is dry, it gets collected and bailed into hay bales , and then stored for animal fodder during the winter. It gets left in the fields with a large sheet of plastic over it, and then goes into plastic covered hay sheds, or clay brick sheds.
