Rice drying before being packed.
Grains of rice are spread out on long sheets of black plastic for about 2 or 3 days, then it is packed into rice bags and sent or stored.
Nonsan is a rice growing area, and the main streets are lined with the spread out rice. No-one takes it...it stays there in the open all day and night.
Then the bags are placed along the rice, and the rice is poured into the bags and sealed.
It is interesting to see how much rice comes out of these paddocks...
