The rice fields have been harvested, burnt to get rid of bugs and grubs, and then ploughed. Some area have huge greenhouses erected with two layers of plastic and inside they are warm and cosy.

When I was at the restaurant with Daniel and Miri, a girl who worked in the dress shop came and told Daniel she would like to give me a watermelon.

After the meal, we followed them inland to where they had greenhouses, and inside were watermelons.

She gave us three beauties....they are now not in season anymore, but are being grown in greenhouses for export and for the local market.

This is the watermelon I took back for Mr B...he loves watermelon...
