Fighters Corner

You stand by the blackened door. There appears to be many scratches and dents in it. You start chanting the chant that the great Melonman taught you(open up,bloody buggers, open up bloody buggers, open orrrrrrr illlll fry you HEAD!!!). It has no effect. You hear a voice from the other side,"Go away yer wizardy freak!". You attempt to asure the voice that you are not, in fact, a wizard. "Bugger off! I know, if you can open this door you can come in!",answers the voice. You hear a couple dozen looks being shut and a few heavy chains being wrapped around the door.

do you:
Go away like the wizarding wimp that you are
Pull the door knob
Kick the door

The door flies back at an amazing speed. You hear a soft groan from behind the squashed door. Then you look around and realize you're in a giant hall! The walls are filled with armour and weapons, and in the middle of it is a huge throne made of... heads!!! As you look a bit closer you realize all the heads have come from different foes, among them you even see the head of the great Troll witch doctor!!!! On the throne is the greatest sight of all: a huge warrior in full steel armour, and a rather large axe and shield by his side. You realize he is the fabled Headbouncer. You can see 5 years of extreme experience in this great warrior's eyes, and many a battle scar on his face. He wears a cloak made of fire dragon hide, the symbol of all fighters. He welcomes you heartily and makes a SLIGHTLY CRUSHED looking troll bring you a chair. "I am Headbouncer, A lvl 21 fighter and the official Bouncer of Heads in the Clan of Sirius", explains the LOOMING warrior, "What would you like to know about us fighters?"
You ask him about:
Tips for young fighters
Why is he a higher lvl than the great Melonman?
Useful commands
Glvls and ranks

Back

As you pull on the door knob it falls off, and you hear a lot of laughing from inside.

Back

You ask Headbouncer why he is a higher level than Melonman. "Well," he says,"it's mainly because I'm so GOOD and he's so utterly..." He gets stopped in mid-sentance by a large ball of fire from the celing. "Okay, maybe it's because I have been in the lands alot longer and have strived hard to achieve that which I have." He mutters something about 'stuck-up wizards' under his breath.

You ask Headbouncer about tips for young fighters. "The first thing any new member of the fighter guild should do is learn your class specific weapon skill(e.g. rangers should learn missile weapon skill). Another important skill is physical training. This skill will make you recover hp faster and get you more with every lvl, it is one of the fighter's most important skills. You could also learn multiple attacks, but this skill will only really help you later on. If you use a mount you might also want to learn riding as this will make you more damage with every charge and allow you to ride more advanced mounts."

Back

You ask Headbouncer about useful commands. "If you're a fighter or bezerker you will probably want to use the ch command. This will make you charge the first monster in the room. Another important command for all classes is aim, although you will only be able to learn this skill at glvl 13."

Back

You ask Headbouncer about levels and guildranks. "Guild levels are very important to your success as a fighter. The higher glvl you have the more of the fighters guild will be open to you. There are portals for people who are glvl 5,9,13 and 20. At 20 you can enter a subguild...To gain glvls you have to do something called gtithe. To activate gtithe type GUILDTITHE (0-75%). This means that e.g. you hit an ogre and get 1% exp. As you are gtitheing 50% half will go towards your guild level and the other half will got to your nomral lvl."
