| Name: Experiment: V51 (Vanye) Codename: Mercury Height: 5'10" Weight: 95lb Eyes: Dark blue, solid color Hair: Pale bluish white Powers: It has extreme speed/agility, as well as enhanced, speeded up perseptions and swift learning abilities. Physical mutations: Smooth, silvery skin, lare wings with translucent purple membranes that extend to its ankles, claws, a long thin tail, boney ridges on its cheeks and forehead and long pointed ears. But it's most unique physical mutations is that it's a hermaphrodite, which means it has both male and female sex organs. It also shares characteristics of both sex's, like a males broad shoulders and narrow hips, but having a womans breasts. Depending on how you dress it up, it could pass for either a masculine female, or a feminine male. About: V51 was a product of genetic experimentation on mutants. Unfortunatly, when it had grown to a mature level and they had begun training, they learned that it had defects, such as a weak body, as well as brain damage. So, they sent it off to where all failed experiments go, to be picked over and reused. Fortunatly, the X-Men destroyed the lab, freeing it. Yet this posed new problems, since it is now forced to live in a world that it has no understanding up, one which hates it for what it is. A mutant. Quirks: While it was being grown in its growth tube, something went wrong and the part of its brain that controls speech was damaged, so it cannot talk right. It also has a weak body, since it was never given time, nor oppurtunity, to work out and further develope itself, which further hinders its powers. And, like most hermaphrodites in nature, it can reproduce both ways, either by getting a female pregnant, or getting pregnant itself. Unfortunatly, something went wrong in its development there as well, making it very unlikely that it can reproduce on its own without the help of drugs. |
