| Name: Raelene Codename: Sphynx Height: 5' Eyes: Ruby red, tinted with gold Hair: Gold, with golden brown streaks Physical appearence: Rae's skin is a sandy yellow color. On her arms sprout brown and gold feathers, which form short wings, and from the base of her spine grows a long, plummed, dark red, feathered tail, two bright blue feathers sprouting from the base. Her fingers are tipped with bird like claws, and her feet resemble cat paws. Her legs from the knees down is covered with a soft, thin layer of down, sandy yellow fur. Powers: Raelene can control the desert winds and sands. She is able to generate powerful sandstorms out of nowhere, as well as blasts of intense, searing heat. She can also turn herself into sand and travel that way with the use of wind. She also has a special kind of 'desert' sense, which allows her to locate things in dry environments. History: Raelene was born deep in the outback of Australia. No one knows who her parents are, or what happened to them, but she has been living out there her entire life. Because of her mutant abilities, and the secluded area where she lives, few have ever seen her, and those that do return to civilization with the tale. This has started all sort of urban legends about the 'Desert Godess', and has inspired many paranormal investigations. But few have ever gotten a good look at her, let alone taken pictures. In a sense, she is the Big Foot of the Australian outback. Quirks: Raelene doesn't like the cold. At all. Cold weather makes her feel lethargic and depressed. She'd much rather be somewhere hot and dry then snowy and cold. Heck, she doesn't even like humidity, it does bad things to her feathers. |
