Mt. Zion United Methodist Church

After the Fil-Hispanish war that was ended in 1898. The Americans came to this Island of the Philippines with some american missionaries.The Evangelization took part almost 87th years ago when some american missionaries visited Magalang. The first converts were the Naguits Family, The Morales, Malaus, Samson, Lacsamana. Their phase of worship was located at the place of Mr. Vincent Naguit a carocreros a little shop used for making Garetas for the farmers. Then, the work of the methodist grew up to this present and its now located at Sta. Cruz barangay.

Aims and Objectives

1. Our aim is first and foremost is to fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus found in the Gospel of Matthew Chapter 28, Verse 16-20, Go Ye To All The World Preached The Good News. The proclamation of the love of God in Jesus.

2. To an instrument of Love, Peace & Hope. Our Testimony to other people so that many will come to experience our Lord Jesus.

Plans and Programs
1. Our Physical development is ongoing.The purpose of these is to attract more attention to people.
2. Our program is still centered on the growth of the Church as whole.Growth in numbers of members, in finance, in spiritual life and many more.
3.To be a witness of Christ in our society by giving counseling, nurture, experience the joy of worshipping God in His Temple.

Proposed
1. To be the biggest membership in our District.
2. To be the most disciplined Methodist our District.
3. To produce leaders in our Church.
