Barangay
San Roque is commonly known as Paligi. In the beginning, Paligi was but
a mere spot where a bunch of settlers came to live. These people built
their huts along the side of a little creek for the purpose of obtaining
water easily. Year after Year the huts erected on both sides of the creek
incresed in number. Since then the place was called " Pali gi".
Not Long after, the farmers agreed to have a Patron Saint for their own.
Hence, San Roque was selected as their Patron.
