SAN PEDRO I

In the year 1863, Capitan Pablo Luciano, assisted by the Cortez and Suing families, undertook the leadership and responsibility in the transfer of the town of San Bartholome to the barrio of San Pedro which then belonged to Cristobal Lacson and to the Trinidad Family. Because the people of San Pedro have been found to possess high quality of respectfulness, the barrio was always referred to as"San Pedro de Magalang which means San Pedro of the respectful. About the year 1868, due to the enormous increase of the population of the community, new barrios were organized. It is believed that this barrio are now what comprise San Nicolas and Sta. Cruz.
