FUNCTION
The
Municipal Health Officer
1.
Supervise the personnel ans staff of the said office, formulate program
implementation guidlines and rules of regulations for the operation of
the said office for the approval of the mayor in order th assist in the
efficient, effective and economical implementation of the helath-related
projects and activities.
2. Formulate measures for the consideration of the sanggunian and provide
technical assistance and support of the mayor in carrying out activities
to ensure the delivery of basic services and provision of adequate facilities
related to health services provided undfer Section 17 of the 1991 Local
Government Code.
3. Develop plans and strategies and upon approval theof by the implement
the same particular those which have to do with health programs and projects
the mayor is empowered to implement and which the sanggunian is empowered
to provide for under this code.
4. In addition to foregoing duties and functions, the health officer should
be in the for fontline of the delivery of the health services, particularly
during or on the after math of man made and natural desaster ans calamities.
