1.
Ensure that all laws and policies governing the appraisal and assesment
of the real properties for taxation purposes are properly executed.
2.Initials review and recommended cahnges in policies and objectives,
plans and programs techniques, procedure and practices in the evaluation
and assesment of real properties for taxation purposes.
3. Establish a systematic method of real properties assesment.
4. Install and maintain real property identification and accounting system.
5. Prepare, install and maintain a system of tax napping, showing graphically
all properties subjects to assesment and gather all data concerning the
same.
6. Conduct frequent physical surveys to verify and determine whether all
real properties within the province are property like in the assesment
rolls.
7. Exercise the functions and appraisal and assesment primarily for taxation
purposes of real properties in the local government unit concerned.
8. Prepare a schedule for the fair market value for the different classes
of real property.
9. Issue upon request of any interested party, certified copies of assesment
records of real property and in all records relative to it's assesment
payment of service charge or fee as the treasurer.
10. Submitt every semester of report of all assesment, as well cancellations
and modifications of assesments, to the local chief executive and the
sanggunian concerned.
11. In the case of the assesor of the component city or municipality attended
personally or through an authorized representative, all sessions of the
local board of Assesment Appeals whenever his assesment is the subject
of the appeal and present or submit an information of record in his possesion
as may be required by the Board.
