Behind the Magaidi Concept
Magaidi, swahili for 'guides',is in a way, the coming together of a collection of pragmatists. We believe in a practical, matter-of-fact way of approaching  or assesing situations and problem resolution. We believe in the integrity of youth, the abundance of ideas, the conglomeration of the same and the belief in self that we can surpass any barriers mental or physical. It is in this sense that we believe the right to express yourself freely and expressly is without a doubt the greatest of freedoms accorded to human beings. For it is within these confines that we connect earnestly believing in the notion that each of us has something to contribute to society regardless of our social or economic backgrounds as a whole. Magaidi respects and observes these rights in the belief that lack of dialogue impedes greater development now and is a stumbling block to a greater and brighter future. As Pericles(431BC), the great put it, "Instead  of looking at discussion as a stumbling block in the way of action, we think it an indispensible preliminary to any wise action..."
Magaidi.
