Grand Master Hsu Fun Yuen began his studies in Shaolin as a boy. He furthered his instruction at a military school under the tutelage of General Li Yuan Chih, one of the greatest martial artists of China.
Grand Master Hsu also learned from other well-known masters, the most famous being Professor Cheng Man Ching, who brought T'ai Chi to New York in the late 1960's.
Grand Master Hsu began his career as an instructor in 1951 and ahas spread T'ai Chi to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Taiwan, where membership grew to 10,000. Grand Master Hsu presently teaches in the Chicago area. |
