Projects which I Supervised
them :
1-
Developing our
Infrastructure Campus Network from thick Cable to ATM switching, to increase
the speed of connectivity from 10MB/s to 155MB/s. Jun, 1997
2- One Thousand Pc’s Project, Phase one, 500
PC’s, the main aspect in this project is to build computer labs for the
student, in each faculty, to develop student Computer skills, Phase one include
convert 18 class rooms to computer Labs in different sites, with all need
(Pc’s, Network, Desks, chairs, floor, windows, doors, etc), and the project
must finished in two months, from the main challenge is to connect these labs
with Giga Speed, so we design our new network by building it depending on Giga
speed, and to avoid high traffic we design VLAN for each faculty, and reuse of
the ATM switches to connect new building with less traffic, here is some
challenges in this project.
·
VLAN must be
Protocol based and must support LAT (broadcasting protocol) protocol to keep
the connectivity of Application terminal with VMS systems
·
Create
Microsoft environment for 30,000 Student, which include Personal Share home
directory, email account, proxy account,
·
student
connectivity from any VLAN and connect to its home directory and email account.
·
Create NT
script to create users, email account, home directories, sharing each directory
to it’s owner, and create these script for Pc’s Machine in the labs to define
Proxy Settings and Printer Configuration.
·
The system
include 19 Proxy, Exchange, DHCP NT server, 9 File Server Primary Domain with
user account and home directories. SMS server, 2 WINS Server,
3- One Thousand Pc’s Project, Phase Two, 500
PC’s
4- Global Distant Learning Center GDLC with the world bank,
University Of Jordan
