A Witches' Garden
Being a green/hedge witch and living with a nature-centered pagan means a lot of time spent out in the garden.  We grow a lot of our own veggies and have started an orchard and berry patches.  We only began last season, from a barren, neglected 3/4 acre yard, but things have changed since then.  And I espect them to continue to grow as time goes on.

A simple step into the back yard and suddenly, I'm no longer surrounded by a medium sized city.  I'm transported to a cottage in the country, where rabbits and frogs hop over one another, tiny minnows dart in the pond and everything is slightly overgrown and unquestionably alive.  Come with us for a stroll . . . . .
Russian sage grows 3 feet tall, and the bees flit from flower to flower.  The graceful gold daylilies reach towards the fading sunlight.
Yarrow stands tall, with it's feathery leaves fluttering the the breeze, and purple coneflowers with their drooping petals and prickly centers speak of the healing properties they hide in their roots.
