How come it doesn’t penetrate the coldness in my heart?
I look upon you, your ship, your crew.
And I can’t help but ask myself…
Do you still remember me?

I noticed that you have changed. Drastically.
You now kill with the passion of a murderer.
You look at them with coldness in your eyes.
You made yourself look tougher, rougher.
Suddenly I don’t recognize you anymore.
What have you done with yourself?
Where is the Sinbad I have sailed with for a year?
Have you forgotten yourself? Who you are?
And have you forgotten about… me?

I see that you have another female crewmember.
And I see she is also very powerful.
She doesn’t know how to use her magic,
But she doesn’t mess up with it like me.
My heart aches everytime you smile at her.
When the coldness in your eyes suddenly melts.
When you seem like your old self around her.
I can’t help but wonder,
Are you falling in love with her?
Have you replaced me… with her?

Do you still remember when we are cruising together?
Do you still remember our fights?
Our arguments?
And that one kiss we shared after you have defeated that Vorgon?
Are those memories lying deep inside your heart?
Or have you forgotten about them, already?
Just like you have forgotten about me?

I tried to forget this awful truth.
I tried to hide the pain that is eating me inside.
I convinced myself, I had to be strong.
I had to bear the unbearable.
I had to go on, living with the hole inside of me that only you can fill.
But it doesn’t stop the tears from falling.
It doesn’t keep my heart from breaking.
I console myself by thinking,
Maybe he remembers me. Maybe…

And so to start a brand new life, I knew I had to forget you.
I had to forget you so I can concentrate on my quest of defeating Rumina.
But I also knew that I can’t bear the thought of not seeing you for the last time.
I transported myself to the island
Where I know you will be docking the ship.
I clothed myself in a robe as to hide myself from you.
I don’t want you to know that I am there.
I just want to see you, in the flesh.
And then there you were.
You walked alone, with no crew by your side.
I held my breath.
You looked in my direction.
And without warning you walked to me.
You stopped in front of me, and simply said, “Maeve.”
You recognized me.
Even with my cloak on you still knew me.
And then you reached out, and removed my hood.
I could only stand there, transfixed at your eyes.
Your eyes that are now a storm of emotions.
And then you said, “I finally found you.”
A single tear dropped from your eyes.
You wrapped your arms around me,
and I knew at that instant that I had my home back.
I am remembered.
I haven’t been replaced.
I haven’t been forgotten.
And I am loved.
