Once upon a time long gone,

In the Golden Kingdom by the sea,

Two hearts came together as one,

Those hearts were you and me.

Our only thoughts were love and laughter,

As we danced in the sands of white,

A dream to last forever after,

An endless starry night.

Inevitably that dream did fade,

Destiny decreeing destruction from on high,

Crumbling towers of the life we made,

The world slowly died.

A millenium removed and here we stand,

In a time foreign and strange.

I call to you now to take my hand,

But you just grin and lock me in your cage.
