Nicaraugua
Starting in Guatemala in late December 2004, I headed up to Lake Aititlan to do my Altitude Diving. From there, I zipped through Honduras to enjoy the wonders of Nicaraugua, including the incredibly isolated Corn Islands. It's been a while since I've been that far from civilization. From there, I went north into Honduras again to the Bay Island of Utila. As the ferry eased into view of the tiny island and slipped up to the dock, it was like coming home. My heart was happy to see the swell of Pumpkin Hill and the endless azure waters.
