It's time again for our annual pilgrimage to New Orleans. What started out as a trip to be a part of the ARVLFC's Annual Gathering of the Coven has grown to be much more. In the past years we have walked on nearly every street of the French Quarter. We have eaten a sea of shellfish and probably consumed 5 lbs of powdered sugar, each. No store selling velvet, leather or lacey fabric has been spared our presence; woe unto any store with shiny, silver objects. And with Eric's guidance, we have consumed some very frightening drinks.

(puts on tour guide name tag)
Scouring the internet and chatting with friends, I've managed to compile a list of happenings for the time we'll be in New Orleans. The ones directly below are activities that I plan to attend (at least right now, I do). At the bottom are some I thought would make good back-ups.

| Pre-Gathering gathering at CDM Another tradition (although a bit less regular) is the pre-party at Cafe Du Monde. I've not heard if anyone has organized anything yet, so I'll probably jump in and do it. If you're interested, email me. Finding a good time is harder with thee Gathering being so early in the day and on a Friday. |
