| APRIL / MAY Some Photos of our trip through France and Spain Click Here MARCH 2005 Tripped to Cullen and McDuff Scotland......see photos 21 March 05: TWO WEEKS TO GO..... Two more weeks before we finish up in Aberdeen and head to Travel Europe. The countdown has started. 4 March 05: BROUGHT THE CAR FOR EUROPE We brought an old 92 Astra about a month ago for �400 to drive around Europe. So far we have spent about �300 getting a few things fixed. So hopefully it will last but it is very temperamental we have to take it easy. Wish us luck. 1 March 05: Left Dubai to London. Our flight from London to Aberdeen was delayed due to bad weather in Scotland. We made it back 6 hours later and very jet lagged. FEBRUARY 2005 26 Feb 05: DUBAI Landed in Dubai craving warm weather and shopping. See Photos. Dubai is the second largest (1 Million) of the seven emirates which make up the United Arab Emirates. Dubai is situated on the Dubai Creek and is surround by a mixture of modern architecture, old Arabian Forts and the timeless Arabian desert. The shopping is great and gold and jewellery is plentiful. A great place to visit which is packed with friendly people. Suprising most of Dubai's money is made from Tourist and not oil as most would expect. 24 Feb 05: BOWLING AND CURRY NIGHT Dess' work decided to have a Bowling and Curry Night to drum up enthusiasm in the office. See Photos. 14 Feb 05: WHEN FAMILY VISIT Michelles sister Erin spent the week in Aberdeen with us. Michelle took her sister out on the town on the Firday night to taste a little bit of the Aberdeen night life. Erin was luck to see it snow which proved great fun on the way home where they do what we would all do....Snow Fights. 5 Feb 05: THE MAORI VOLCANICS The Maori Volcanics are a Maori Showband that Des's Father once played in in the late 60's. They currently have an exhibition on at Te Papa Museum in Wellington NZ. see archives |

Driving Europe We are currently planning the next leg of the trip through Europe. Michelle flys to Paris for a week at the start of April to see her mum while Des will spend a week in Ireland. We then meet up back in Edinburgh to drive down and through France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Italy and Greece. While in Italy we are booked in to watch the Italy Moto GP - June 05, Valentino Rossi's home race. After the GP we head back to London then fly to Istanbul, Turkey for a 14 day trip. |
