OK, you're probably asking: What is MADS?

MADS is short for Mental/Attack/Defense/Skill. It describes the four different types of dice used in the MADS rpg

MADS is a character conversion system. It is meant to "translate" characters from different game systems into the same system so they can adventure together...or beat the snot out of each other. MADS also includes its own character creation rules, making it a complete RPG system unto itself.

I should probably clarify something: MADS is not meant to translate a d20 system character to a White Wolf d10 system character, or anything to that effect. Rather, it can be used to convert virtually any character from practically any system to the MADS system, an original d6 and d10 based system. Your character will still be able to keep all or most of his abilities in the process, and still gain experience and treasures like he would in a regular session.

Few things stink more than spending good money on a new game system and finding out you don't like it. That is why I am in the process of creating a series of demos to give new gamers a chance to sample the game mechanics of MADS.
