| The Euro League is played across 8 cities in Europe from March through to October. Tournaments are organised and held by local clubs with the assistance of the ECB. While tournament rounds in the Euro League focus on football, they provide for clubs who wish to participate or compete in hurling. Each year sees an increase in European teams and the Euro League gives teams an opportunity to play or the first time in a friendly and sociable environment. Madrid participated for the first time in 2004. The Euro League was sponsored by KerryGold this year and was won by Munich (Mens Football). Hurling and Camogie were played but not competitively. |
