Mad's Photo Album

Yeah this is so all you guys can go look at all the photos I scanned or took on my digi cam. These aren't all the pictures I have, but I can't scan and upload*all* of them cause that'd take forever. I cheated and used that Geocities photo album creator, but it's evil to me so I can't make links on the pages to the other pages, so you'll just have to use your trusty back button. All these pics are mine, don't steal, I'm sure I'll be online if you need a pic (but why would you? They're all me and Trevor).

Mad's Friends

My friends and I are pretty insane, so I thought I'd tell you about a couple of them. Don't feel offended if you're not up here and you're my buddy too. It just means that I haven't gotten around to adding you yet. I still love you! In alphabetical order, they (the ones I've thought of so far) are as follows:

Alanna
Alanna is really weird and really cool. She's unlike anyone else, I guess. She loves Spongebob Squarepants (and did before anyone else that I know of), along with a buncha other odd stuff. She has a nice collection of funky socks and is even more adept than I am at most subjects, she's just lazier than I am when it comes to work, and Sensei hated her when she was in Japanese class. Alanna spends most of her time taking care of and/or riding her beloved quarter brown-with-black-mane-and-tail horse Rocky. She doesn't do any extracurricular activities 'cause of her horsey, so she's not in Speech or anything, plus she prolly wouldn't do that cause she's lazy, hehe.

Allison
Allison and I have the weirdest friendship/rivalry. We're always picking on each other and giving each other a hard time, yet we still talk about important stuff like problems and school and friends and teachers and stuff, it's really weird. She doesn't think I consider her my friend, but I do. Alisson, Alanna, Kiyomi and I were the only 8th graders in our math class so we had virtually the same schedule and hung out a lot. Kiyomi's moved back in math but Alanna and Alisson, as well as Kanani now still have most of the same classes together, and hang out a lot.

Bob
Bob is my "brother" who lives in Illinois, and he rocks. He never sleeps, so one can call him at all hours of the night to talk about mindless crap, which is can save a bad day. There's not much to say. He's my bro!

Cynthia
Cynthia is a crazy Spanishy heavy-metal wanna-be-hacker obsessed-with-Terrorists kinda gal. But we love her anyway. For protection, mostly. Just kiddin' Cyn, you do kick some ass.

Danielle
What can I say, she's Elle! Dee is Bob's fiancee and the love (and center) of his life. She is the goddess of poetry and all things in the creative department besides. Let's just say she and Bob are a match made somewhere by someone who know what they were doing. "Elle: average-weight tall goth (ew) with snazzy glasses."

Gina
I've known Gina since preschool, she's Susannah's age, and I used to be friends with her older brother so I'd hang out at her house a lot. We started hangin' out again when she came to my school for 7th grade, but she got expelled cause of this stupid little bitch named Amanda, but let's not get into that. We hang afterschool at the library sometimes, and at shows. Not everyone gets along with her, but she's still cool with me. She's visibly growing up.

Kanani
Kanani's just... Kanani. We've known each other since Kindergarden and have been close friends since about the 2nd Grade. She's really cool when she's in a good mood, but beware her wrath when she's angry. She's obsessive about anything she finds cool, such as Suikoden, Harry Potter, and guys, *always* guys. I believe the current infatuation is Alan Rickman, but that'll probably change by next week. Everyone seems to think she's cool, even though not too many are exceptionally close to her. She's smart and applies herself well. She spends most of her time looking for pictures of her current guy infatuation, RPing, and doing other Kanani stuff. She recently found God, and has converted from Agnosticism to Presbytarianism. I'm happy for her, it seems to be helping her even out the creases in her life, so to speak.

Kevin
Kevin is my bi-polar buddy who goes to Damien with my friends Tim and Randy. He comes to our school sometimes and we talk on AIM and see each other at shows and whatnot. He's confused a lot of the time, but he's a cool guy, and he's part of the Damien gang.

Kiyomi
I've known Kiyomi since 7th grade when I first came to St. Francis. We were in a lot of the same classes, but only really became close when we were in Fiddler on the Roof together because Ms. Renick needed people for the two youngest daughters, but it turned out we were too big, so we were extras instead, but it was still a lot of fun. She became my next best friend when Kanani wasn't around, and it's remained so, I just have a lot of really close friends now. We can talk to each other really easily, and she uses my house as a hideout whenever she needs to get away from her house because it's driving her crazy. She spends a lot of time on her art, hoping to be like her dad, a former animator for Square (he worked on the Final Fantasy movie, among other things). She's smart, but usually doesn't do her work so the teachers get frustrated with her. She has a lot of problems though, so it can be difficult. She's really cool if you're the kinda person who can get along with her. Not everyone can.

Meredith
Meredith is a former Speech buddy who has since graduated and moved to Orange, CA for college at Chapman University. Her main interest is filmaking... I think. She and her partner Jackie (spelling?) were Speech geniuses, and we miss them a lot. Meredith comes home for breaks and catches Speech tournaments when she can. We talk mainly on AIM, and she sends tidbits of wisdom back to the islands from the real world.

Nonemo Boy (aka Not My Trevor)
Nonemo Boy is a friend of Gina's, whose real name is Trevor, but I don't call him that, cause I only have one Trevor. He's in fact very "emo", but he refuses to admit it, so since he rejected the name Emo Boy, I started calling him Nonemo Boy, and it's kinda stuck. Or at least, I'm too lazy to think of anything else. Apparently I look like his older sister, so he calls me his sister if we're ever seen together. He doesn't talk much. We usually converse on AIM or see each other at shows on ocassion.

Patrick
Patrick's full first name Is John Patrick (J.P.) or something, but I call him Patrick, because Kevin calls him Patrick, and I don't like calling people initials. He's Kevin's younger brother, one grade under me, and we take great lengths to make him feel wanted, cause he doesn't have too many friends in his grade, or at least so I gather. He's a cool guy. Very quiet, but very loyal even to mere acquaintances. He's a good guy. Part of the Damien gang as well.

Paul
I know Paul from Confirmation. We go to the same church and since we were both Confirmed last year, we now volunteer as Leaders every sunday to get community service hours and hang out (it's an alternative to just sitting in church). We have a sort of half-band thing going where we've written a few songs and recorded them as a hobby. He goes to Maryknoll (I envy co-ed schools) and, as far as I know, spends most of his time playing guitar and revelling in the fact that he finally got his license now that he's almost 18. Hence, he drives around a lot.

Ralphie
Ralphie is Sam's cousin who lives in California, so now he is my cousin too. I adopted him. He's always there to cheer me up or calm me down if I've had a wee bit too much caffeine. His favorite pastime is ranting about how cool Chrono Cross is, and talking about how much he loves his cousins. He recently found himself a spiffy chick (one of the famous Twins) and is quite occupied with her. She's a very cool individual named Ashley. Go Ralphie!

Randy
I first knew Randy by sight as just some guy from Speech that was way too cool (and I thought, preppy) to talk to me. He turned out to be completely opposite (a total dork like me?), which was a nice surprise, and I was introduced to him by Tim, so we hang at Speech tournaments and shows and whatnot. I haven't seen him in awhile because his parents are quite protective so he doesn't get out a lot. He too is part of the Damien gang.

Roger
Also known as Spicy, Roger is a former Damien student (considered part of the Damien crowd) who works at McDonalds and interns at STAR (101.9). He's very Kiyomi-like, and I don't know enough about him to say much more. He gave me a sticker that said "SPAM" on it. His goal is to obtain a bag of water (formerly snow or frost) from the mainland and keep it for sinister reasons unknown to myself. He likes chicks with glasses who play guitar, and is coincidentally engaged to Michelle Branch, though she doesn't know it yet. His talents include being able to walk on a broken foot.

Samantha Paige
Sam/Paige was one of the first two friends I had at St. Francis, along with Katie. I had no friends on the first day and I felt like shit, and later realized this was because I was sick, so I had to stay home the second, third, and fourth day, and when I came back on Friday, Katie and Paige were the first people to talk to me in 7th Grade Art. We used to hang out at school, but Sam's moved to Kaimuki High School (eep, public school!), so we see each other sometimes, and talk on AIM. Sam is famous for demanding hugs fifty times a day. You get used to it if you know her long enough. She's even younger than me, which is hard to believe, but she can hold her own. <3s to Sammie. How's Kailua?

Susannah
She's my little sister, what can I say? Sometimes we fight, sometimes we're totally cool, that's just the way it is, she's family. She's broken 14 bones in her 14-year life, 13 of which have been in the last 5 years, isn't that amazingly sad? She was known for awhile as "the girl with the cast". She must just be too skinny or something, cause she drinks a lot of milk. Maybe she has brittle bones. Or maybe she's just clumsy. Anyway, she's cool, when she's not throwing a fit or trying to beat me up. She's in 9th grade at my school (wow, high school already?!) and spends most of her time watching crappy movies and crappy TV shows, and sometimes listening to crappy music, though I do admit she introduced me to Goldfinger, and they're fuckin' awesome.

Tim
I met Tim through his sister Stacy who went to my school in 9th Grade, and I know know him from Speech as well as seeing him at shows. Apparently a lot of people who like punk are in Speech for some inexplicable reason. We went to Winterball together (as friends) Freshman year, spending most of the evening talking about anime, ripping up Christmas confetti, and playing with a football made out of a bill that was worth much more than $1. Fun times. He's part of the Damien gang, and is the reason I know most of the others.

Trevor
Last but not least, probably one of my most trusted and valued friends, (yeah you guys should already know he's my boyfriend) not to lessen the others, but we've got something great going for us and it'd be unfair to compare it to any other relationship I have with anyone, friend or family. He's a freshman in college now and spends most of his time (when he's not at school or working at Office Depot) playing computer games, watching cartoons, listening to some awesome music, and other Trevor-like activities. We're goin' on a year and a half at the beginning of February (2003), which I think just kicks ass. If you've ever even talked to me you know he's pretty much all I talk about sometimes. Much of that might be attributed to the fact that he lives 3000 miles away in Washington state so I only see him every three months if I'm lucky, give or take. I can't imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't on a whim started talking to him on AIM after not seeing him in over a year (he was a friend of my cousin's). It's mind-boggling to think of all the tiny coincidences that lead to us getting together. God must be lookin' out for us.
