Fever - B-Side to Bad Girl in the U.S. and the 4th single from this album for most other countries. Releasing singles only in other countries tends to happen A LOT with Madonna. "You give me fever!" The video is quite boring, it had potential though. Madonna painted silver laying on the floor with a red background, and Madonna with red hair at other times. The only somewhat appealing part of this video is the last 2 seconds where she sizzles off the screen.

Bye Bye Baby - A single in very few countries. It was the final (6th) single in countries where it was released. The performance was somewhat appealing at the girlie show tour. The song is kinda annoying, it gets in the way of a good track sequence.

Deeper and Deeper - 2nd single and clearly the best song on the album. It only hit # 7 on the charts. Huge dance song that relates to Vogue in a way. The video however is a huge let down. The story is how she went back to a club she used to go to back in the 70s and she reminisces and whatever it's not good. Very disappointing. However, I still laugh at the last second when the balloons get cut.

Where Life Begins - A song that is quite suggestive. The song is ok, but it has no single potential in any way. Most of this song is monologue, theres some singing in there, nothing great.

Bad Girl - 3rd single which peaked at # 36!!! Ok, the video for this song is truely one of her best, however, the song is not. It is very well written lyrically but the beat is too weak. I believe this whole song is a conversation between Dita & Madonna inside her head. This single was not performed at The Girlie Show (Madonna's Tour for this album). Most people I talk to, have never heard this song before. This song ended her string of top 20 hits started in 1983 with Holiday. Thanks Bad Girl, You Bad Charter!

Waiting - B-side to Rain. This song's beat is sorta rappish. Waiting shows a weak side of Madonna's character. Are we still to think that Dita is narrating? or is the narrator now Madonna? Maybe the switch occured in Bad Girl. Who is she referring to in this song?

Thief of Hearts - Finally, a dance song, the first one after Deeper and Deeper on the album. If theres a song that should have been a single on this album that wasn't, it's this track. Remixing needs to be done to this track though. Her singing is to soft at points for a dance song. It doesn't match up well at certain parts, but it's better then most of the other songs on this album.

Words - One of the best written songs I've encountered to date. Like Survival, this song needs a little more life to it musically. The beat is too dull and hence could lead to boredom. I can't describe it. Just read the lyrics and learn them. Live by them.

Rain - 4th and final single in the U.S. which peaked at # 14, (5th single outside U.S.). I'm still a little skeptical in believing that that is her on the single cover. Ok, I don't have a fondness for Rain as a song and as a video. Supposedly, I'm not a true fan for not like either of them I've been told. Whatev.

Why's It So Hard - Why's It So Hard..hmmm I assumed another sexual song.. talking about why's it so hard. NO. Its about world peace, getting along, etc. Sort of a similar message as Love Makes The World Go Round. A live version of this song can be found on the I'll Remember Maxi Single.

In This Life - A lonnnngggg slow ballad about her friend that died of A.I.D.S. Good meaning in the lyrics. A song that is hard to listen to more then once a year.

Did You Do It? - I don't consider this to be a Madonna track. This track contains the entire music of Waiting and features 2 rappers rapping about something suggestive. I can't make out half the lyrics but there must be some suggestive message in there otherwise I don't see a reason of putting an "explicit lyrics" sticker on the album.

Secret Garden - B-Side to I'll Remember. Everyone has mixed feelings about this track. I love it, the music is beautiful and I wish that there would have been a video for it because I can see millions of things that could fit this song. Final moments of the album: "somewhere in fontainebleau lies my secret garden".. followed by a piano being played for a while. p.s. where is fontainebleau?
