Welcome to the first MAD JAX CUTIES AWARD interview. Ms. Laura W. from Lake George, NY beat out over 80 girls to become the first recipient of the MAD JAX CUTIES AWARD. The following interview was done on Otober 17th, 2003.
madjax69: Hi Laura laura: Hi Jax madjax69: You've been voted as the first Mad Jax Cuties, how does it feel? laura: Well...seeing as I don't get a big head over anything...I guess you could say I was happy to hear the good news...but it's not all about looks...and the other girls that were running...were simply amazing themselves. madjax69: Well, you do have the beauty. Most everyone voted in regards to looks, communication and overall personality. madjax69: You have all three laura: Well I guess that is a good package deal. I couldn't stand being a stuck up person that focuses on my body 24-7...sometimes you have to be human madjax69: How would you describe yourself? laura: Well...I'm a very honest and open person...I want people to see the real me. I don't want it to be about the outside beauty...I want them to see the inner beauty as well...And I've been told by many I have a kind heart...and I'm there for friends when they need me the most...then again I believe that is what true friends are for. madjax69: Yes. You've shown me the being that is inside of you, and I personally appreciate it. laura: Well sweetheart...you have shown me that you have a heart of gold as well...I always return the favor. madjax69: Thank you! madjax69: Out of your whole life, what do you consider the highlight, the moment you are most proud of? laura: To be honest...I look back on all I've done...and in someway I'm proud of myself...it made me who I am today...I dont' think I could just pick one...Every moment in my life...has meant something to me in some aspect. madjax69: Nice answer. laura: Thank you madjax69: What motivates you? laura: My dad...he motivated me when he was around...and he still does...he is the reason I"m still here and smiling. madjax69: That's sweet. laura: Yeah, what can I say...my dad was my life...I was daddy's little girl madjax69: You're still fairly young, have you set any goals that you would like to achieve? laura: One of my main goals in life...is to become a doctor...but that is on hold right now...because my grandma is sick...But when she gets better I plan on heading back... I wanna help people...and what better way then to cure them of their pain. madjax69: See what I told you. Just when I think you can't get any better, you turn around and throw something else at me that makes me go, damn! laura: Yeah I'm good like that...I like to suprise people...when they have the time to listen...they might be rather surprised madjax69: Where do you see yourself in 5 years? laura: In Med. School. Trying to make people smile...I hate frowns. Living my life to the fullest...then again that is an everyday thing...won't change in five years. madjax69: Where do you find your friends? laura: Friends can be found anywhere...It could be in a bar...on the beach...in the park...I mean damn...look, it could even be on the internet...true friendship isn't about where you met...but how much u trust and how much u have been there for them. madjax69: That's so true. You've been there for me and given me smiles when I needed them. laura: That's what true friends are for sweetheart madjax69: Do you consider yourself approachable? laura: Yeah...I will talk to anyone. as long as I don't get some corny pick up line...I'd love to talk with you...best way to meet new people. madjax69: Tell me something that people would be surprised to learn about you. laura: Well...There is alot of things about my life that would surprise people...People judge me by my looks thinking...I have it all...but it's far from true...I work for what I have...I hate people spending money on me...I use to yell at my dad when he came home with some random present just cause he could...I dont' want you to buy me something...show me from your heart how you feel...Money is nothing...Love is so much more...and it last longer. madjax69: I give away a dollar and it doesn't come back. I give my heart and it returns with another. laura: That is true...but in the end what is it you would rather have? madjax69: I'd rather know that my friendship, love, whatever, is truly appreciated. laura: Yeah I agree with you on that one 100% madjax69: What's in your CD player right now? laura: A mixed CD laura: I love random music...can't listen to one person all the time madjax69: What's your favorite thing about Lake George? laura: Favorite Thing...would be the people...and being a small town...it seems like one big family...everyone is there for everyone. I love that about this town...I could go and talk to anyone about anything....They always listen...and they helped support me when I started to model and when my dad passed away. madjax69: I have a faint memory of the townspeople from when I was young. laura: lol madjax69: Do they still have a guy dress up as Frankenstein in front of the Wax Museum? laura: Yes they do...that guy is awesome...even though he use to scare me when I was little. madjax69: I think I told you how he scared the crap out of me when I was like 8 or 9 years old. I almost achieved getting back inside my mother when he started coming towards the car. laura: lol laura: Yeah, so Frankenstein scared you like the Clown in "It" scared me madjax69: Oh my god! madjax69: Tim Curry is amazing! laura: Yeah, well watch that and then go to the circus madjax69: HeHe laura: I hated clowns since then madjax69: You still hate clowns? laura: Yeah..I went to the haunted house at the theme park here...and they had a clown thingy and I got so scared I jumped in my friends arms madjax69: That's a good thing to know, I'll never invite you to a rodeo. laura: yeah I know laura: damn clowns are taking over madjax69: Ok, no more clowns. madjax69: Although, speaking of IT, what was your reaction when the news hit about John Ritter? madjax69: Were you a fan? laura: You know when celebrities die, it affects people in a way..but I never sat down to think what it would be like if I knew him...I mean that may sound bad...but you can't let celebrities deaths bring you down...you smile...and you say...he died...and he was a successful man. madjax69: I understand where you're coming from with that. I grew up with Three's Company, so it had my attention for a moment. laura: Yeah it captures some...they think..he was so young...and may question why madjax69: Just goes to show, you never know, so live it to the fullest. laura: Very true madjax69: Is there any question you wished to be asked that I didn't ask? laura: I mean would could say worse memory laura: but that would be hard to pick as well madjax69: How long have you been a model? laura: Only a couple of months...I stopped last year...tired of the cameras madjax69: Well, you have to do one more shoot. The Mad Jax Cuties shoot! laura: Yeah I know...I told you I would madjax69: Were you born in Danbury? laura: yeah madjax69: We're CT babies! I was born in Bridgeport. laura: Nice laura: Jax if you could have one wish in life what would it be? madjax69: The tables turned, the crowd goes silent! laura: lol laura: *dumps water on the crowd* madjax69: There's a lot of things I'd like to do. I'd have to pick two. Can I? laura: I suppose madjax69: There's two sides of me. So bear with me ok? laura: okay madjax69: There's the person inside of me that wants to find the one. The one that completes me. So my first wish, is to find a love that hasn't touched me yet. There's this line " I searched the planet for that magical girl, I walked a million miles all over the world, I found the oysters, but never the pearl" I want to find my pearl. madjax69: My other wish, my rocker rebellion side, wants to record or write with Alice Cooper. I've met him many times to the point that he knows who I am and all, but I would love to work with him. He's not going to be doing his thing for that much longer and I'd like to work with him before he hangs up his mascara. laura: Interesting baby madjax69: What's your one wish in life? And I'll return the favor if you want two. laura: You know I use to wish for my dad to come back...til I realized if he was back...I'd have to go through the pain of losing him all over again...knowing that one day he wouldn't be there would drive me crazy...Now I just wish I could find the one person that means the world to me....the one that will hold me close in bad times...and the one that will hold me in the good times...I want someone that loves me for me...not for my body...I want to be able to cuddle...and hold a person close...But I guess the one true wish would be happiness...I wanna look back and smile with everything that I have done...and right now I'm making my own wish come true. madjax69: Where's your Romeo girl? laura: Somewhere...I'm sure he got lost...and is too stubborn to ask for directions madjax69: Typical of a man eh? laura: Yeah I know laura: But I guess I can wait til he comes madjax69: Is there anything you'd like to say before we end this interview? laura: How about...Mad Jax is the greatest guy...he is caring and charming..and I wuv him for that. *Hugz* madjax69: I'm blushing, hold on laura: aww laura: *kiss on the cheek* madjax69: Thank you for doing the interview Laura, and congrats on being the first recipient of the MAD JAX CUTIES AWARD. laura: Thank you sweetheart...and it was no problem.
