Ok, Kobe Bryant is big news right now because of an immoral thing he did.  He just won Teen Choices award for favorite male athlete and the media wants to know if the votes were cast and counted before or after he was charged with his aledged sex crime.  Who cares?

Whether he did force sex on the girl or not does not take away his credibilty as a jewel of a basketball player.  Yes, if he is charged with sexual assault it may change his role as a clean cut role model for young people all over the world.  But, it does not take away that he is a great player.  He made a mistake and he has openly admitted to making a mistake.  I have nothing to do with this guys life, do you?

This is something that he and his wife have to figure out and handle together.  It doesn't matter what I think, what you think, what the media thinks and what the NBA thinks or the general public.  Let him get through his trial, let him make up the damge to his wife, and let him try to regain his role in society that he dutifully took on.  This is a big blotch on his career that may take time to rub out, but it will come to pass.  Clinton is still very popular with the public for some odd reason and look what he did while he was in office.  He did much worser crimes when he wasn't president yet he still became president of our US of A.  Let Bryant get through this and try to get back to a normal life.  I will still admire him as a basketball player no matter what the outcome is of his trial.  He was never a role model for me.  As Charles Barkley always commented on, "I AM NOT A ROLE MODEL, PARENTS SHOULD BE A ROLE MODEL FOR THEIR OWN KIDS".

We are living in a reality show laced world at the moment.  Let's get back to some real values like Leave it To Beaver and the Brady Bunch type world LOL.  Let's not continue this path into destruction.  It's sad that we have to live in a world where, people die from media frenzies, we have to sit through OJ running and then his stupid ass trial and we have to see every car chase just in case someone gets run over or killed.  Are we moving into a new era where we are pleasured by other people's misfortunes and mistakes?  Oh yes we are.  We have.  How do we end it?  Stop reading the stupid tabloid rags, turn the channel when a high speed pursuit is on, and for god's sake, when you see an accident on the side of the road, keep moving.  Some of us are not interested in seeing someone's head splattered all over the dashboard thank you.
