Mr. Rick Blankenship graduated from Man High School located in Man, WV. He continued his
education at Marshall University where he earned a B.A. in Education 1995.
Mr. Blankenship started his teaching career in 1996 at his present position at Madison Middle School.
He is a member of the West Virginia Education Association and is the Girls Basketball team
coach. Mr. Blankenship has received a plaque in recognition of the first girls basketball
undefeated season at MMS in the 2003-04 season.
Mr. Blankenship's hobbies include football, basketball, sports in general, computers, XBOX,
music and guitar. His favorite quotes are "It's not whether you get knocked down, it is
whether you get up." -Vince Lombardi and "Nobody goes there anymore because it is too crowded."

Mr. Blankenship enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends. Some of his community
activities include church, local sports spectator and supporting local restaurants.
