Mrs. Debbie Harless graduated from Scott High School in Madison, WV. She continued her
education at Southern WV Community College, WV State College, WV Tech, Marshall University and
received a degree in Floral Design from Cleveland Design School.
Ms. Harless started her teaching career in 1987 teaching at the since closed, Danville Elementary
School. She came to Madison Middle School in 1996 teaching Special Education.
Mrs. Harless is a sponsor of the Maidson Middle School Student Council. She is a member
of the Madison Baptist Church Choir and Music Board and the Danville Lions Club.
She was selected as Boone County Teacher of the Year in 1996 and received the Ashland Golden
Apple Award in 1997.
She loves to shop and arrange flowers in her free time. Mrs. Harless has one son, Christopher,
two springer spaniels, Hunter and Bandit and is married to her husband Terry.
