Ms. Glenda Ball graduated from Scott High School. She continued her
education at Southern West Virginia Community College earning her degree from Marshall University
in elementary Education 1-6 and Math/Science 4-8.
Ms. Ball started her teaching career in 1980 Sherman Junior High teaching Mathematics in grades
7 and 8. She came to Madison Middle School in 1984 teaching 6th grade mathematics and
science for grades 6-8.
Ms. Ball is the Faculty Senate Chair at Madison Middle School, Math Focus Teacher and the
Math Field Day sponsor. She is a member of the WV County Math Leadership team and was selected as
Runner-up for Theacher of the Year in 2005-2006.
Her hobbies include reading and babysitting her great nieces.
