Aunt Joan

In rememberance of Joan Delores Hyde Dotson

The tears are flowing down our cheeks,
Though we know not why we cry.
At the thought of her eternal home,
Her home up in the sky.
As daylight falls, her heartbeat fades,
We watch the life flow from her.
The sun has set and she's at rest,
God's children now around her.
They say hello, we bid goodbye,
Her journey home is done.
Until we meet again Aunt Joan,
Your memory will carry on.
