Mother Teresa was born on Aug 27, 1910, as Agnes GonxhkaBojaxhiu in the present- day Republic of Macedonia. She left home at the age of 18 & joined the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Ireland to join the sisters of Loreto in Calcutta, now renamed as kolkota Sister Teresa began her life in Calcutta by teaching at St.Mary school,she taught there for more than 20 years, When She recieved permission in 1948 to start up her own religious community, the missionaries of charity.The order provides food for the needy & operates hospitals, orphanages,& shelters for lepers & the dying poor. Almost 50 years later, the missioners of charity have grown from 12 sisters in India to over 3,000 in 517 missions throughout 100 countries worldwide. Mother Teresa died a very peaceful death on Sept 5, 1997 leaving behind her a legacy. A legacy of selfless service to people in need. She was 87. Mother Teresa was a living saint & she will be greatly missed around the world. May she rest in Peace. You may be knowing I had shaved my head when daddy died. I hav ementained it so far. The new thing that I am doing is grow a Choti. I started it from today. Soon people will notice it. The colours you chose for the page seem to go so well with the spirit of her words. It came as a nice surprise to learn that you paint. However, it is easy to miss the image of your painting on the website unless one scrolls down to the end of that page. If you have more paintings you'd like to share with the world, may I suggest that you devote a whole page to them or even a whole new website. Congratulations on a job nicely done.
