| Geology Arambol is situated along the coast in the most northern part of Goa. It as a volcanic origin. The place where we fly is called Paliem. It cosists of a small lagoon, with on both sides 80 meters cliffs. The lagoon itself has volcanic springs that are sometimes active. |

| Acknowledgements Both the hills and the lake are under administration of the former "Maharaja's" whom have given it on lease to the villagers who farm it and collect cashew and coconuts. More than 50 % of the area consists of rainfores/jungle. |
| As the land can be calle 'private property' none of it is marked as such. Tourists who have come for a pick nick have no notion, on who's land they are trotting |
| Many years ago, there was a German who thought he could monopolize the hill by bribing the landowners. Innocent pilotes have been paying him, without getting anything that they did not have yet. |
