My HP Movie

Like what the TV Ads say... This is something you've never seen before... this is new Harry Potter. It says it right there in the ads, that this is different from any other Harry Potter film that we have seen!
I would first like to say, that this new director did a pretty good job, for his first and only HP film. Second I like to point out to everyone to remind them that in almost every movie they make from a book series, you will find that they added new things in and have taken or left orginal things that are from the book. An example, in the movie Hannibal, they changed the end of the movie different from the book. They make changes because of either they think the movie watcher may not like it or they think it doesn't need to be in there.Yet, that is different for HP fans, we want to see everything in there from begining to the end. comes to the movies, they must make some changes. They don't want to too make it too long so the parents of the kids don't have to say long, and they are scared to make it to short, because big fans will be mad. You can't keep everyone happy.
Third, I would like to state, that before I watched the movies I would listen to the audio books, so that I can get it all in my head, and find the mess ups. Well, I did not do it before this movie. Even though I do have an amazing memory so, I still found the big changes. ( but we will get to that later.)
Okay these are things I loved about the movie, the new music is the first. Many say that

it is not " Harry Potter" well what is Harry Potter music. Just because they used the same Hegwig's Theme in both the 1st two, doesn't mean it HP music. And I believe there was HP theme music in the movie... if you listen at the begining it's there...and in other parts if you listen closely ( I got the soundtrack, and it's been drill into my head lol). But, anyway I love the new music, it was fresh, scary, and NEW! And I love the something wicked this way song... is pretty good.
      Another thing I loved was, the new look and feel of the movie. It had a very art film festival movie feel, not a Disney ( Nothing wrong with disney I love Mickey) Movie made for TV feel. And it's because book 3 is dark! SO the movie is suppose to be dark, which the did very good.
    Also many have said they have not like the new, untidy uniform look. Okay, they are teenagers and teenagers don't dress perfect, and besides in the book half of the time they are in Muggle clothing. Chris Columbus try doing that in the frist film or something like that and he said it looked to much like a bad Halloween costume, and he said they way this new director did it is better. So I give an A- to the new look.
   I loved that the movie was not covered in special effects, you saw them but they were soo good that you didn't even notice they were fake ( ex. the troll scene in HP1). The BUCKBEAK scene rocked! I got goose bumps! And thats all i gotta say :)
     I loved the camera work and the fading and the symbolism. The camera working in the Defense Agenist the Dark Arts Class scene with the boggart, going in and out through the mirror. The Fading to scene to scene, ex. at the beginging when Harry looks out the window of the train when its raining, and then it fades into the next scene and his refection is now in the puddle of water. Understand? Oh well. And last the symbolism, the ravens/crows during buckbeak's death and more.
     Other things I loved was Aunt Marge( play a good meany), Stan Pike(funny), the srunken head ( it was funny and a nice touch), Lupin ( gave a fathering way towards harry as if he really cared about him. And who cares about the mustach!), Sirius Black ( He really did a good job going from crazy man to loving godfather that we all love!) And those are the ones that really standed out that I can remember.
Oh and one more thing I just remembered THE TIME TURNER SCENE, I loved it, it was done so well!

THINGS THAT MADE ME GO UGH. Well not really him but he was okay, was the new Dumbledore, seeing Richard Harris, god bless his soal, perform greating in the frist to films now seeing this guy. All I have to say is he was different, and he gave the look that I think Dumbledore is like in the book wise ideas, and kind of funny and cool. ( Ex. When hermione and harry returns from the time turner scene, they say we did it and he goes, DID what, smiles, and says goodnight.) The only thing was his voice would go deep and then suddenly high, thats what bother be about him mostly. One was the new look on Tom the inkeeper, I didn't know Igor was in the book lol. Also the new look on THE FAT LADY... it was okay... but a little weird. Even though some people don't like it I love the new look on Draco's hair, so no Ugh to that. Same thing with the new quidditch robes, some say they didn't like that... well for me ..no Ugh to that, loved them, it was raining they needed something to keep dry. But I can't think of any others that mad me go ugh.

THINGS THAT MADE ME SO MAD! One was and many agree with me on this is that they left out the whole thing that Lupin,James, Sirius, and Peter created the Map. Lupin knew some how it was a map and how to work it and Sirus knew that the MAP is never wrong, the common non-HP fan would not know the background on that. They could have added in when sirius says the line in the Sherking Shack The MAP's Never wrong, We made it, ME, Lupin, your father and peter created while we were in school, are nicknames were Padfoot, Moony, Padfoot, and Wormtail, so it would never be wrong! And that help explain better perhaps. And the other thing that made me very mad is that they never mention that Harry's Father was able to change into a stag, when Harry sees

the Stag later, there is no point in even having a stag there if we don't know the importance of it. Even though alot of people did not like the sheild like protronus in the movie I think they did that so that it would not give away the ending, so you couldn't say no it was Harry not his father! Well, I like to write more And I can go on forever ( IM me if you agree or disagree) BYE BYE!
