Malcolm Toombs - Head of the Chosen for the North Los Angeles Area. He has magik in his veins, but like other mages not enough to be powerful. His magikal foci is an ancient Egyptian Ankh that he wears around his neck. Malcolm has seen the worse of the worse in his 26 years with the Chosen. He manages to keep a wry sense of humor about the entire situation. Redish Black hair with spooky grey eyes. Uses a Ruger Redhawk 44 Caliber Revolver with Bloodstone in the handle.

John Roderigeuz - Malcolm's partner, just a normal man who one night watched his girlfriend get killed by a werewolf, John being a strong man fought the werewolf and managed to crush its skull. He joined the Chosen and has miraclously survived for almost eight years. Short black hair and hazel eyes. Has a large tattoo of a red skinned naked woman on his right arm.

Ophelia Morgan - The newest addition to Malcolm's little group. Ophelia has power more than most Chosen Mages. Ophelia still doesn't fully believe what is going on. Two years ago she was just a happy 20 year old college student who was looking forward to Med School, now she is up to eyeballs in vampires, ghosts and all sorts of things that go bump in the night. Short raven black hair and green eyes.

Jack Simms - Owner of Smiling Jack's Billiard and Bar Supply, also a weapons smith and alchemist for the Chosen. Good humored man with an ability to make anything and everything, assuming he has a recipe in his stack of many books. Jack has a love of video games and horror movies, brown hair and blue eyes.

Beth Palmer - Tattooed babe that owns her own Curiosity Shop in a quiet spot in Santa Monica, which is a constant source of intelligence on people who needs things that are less than savory, and also a source of trouble when Beth gets a hold of items that are less than friendly to humans. Short messy red hair, she is Jack's sweetie after the pair meet while trying to obtain a certain item in a Voodoo Priest's Tomb in sunny Jamaica.

Charity Li - Becomes the group's intelligence chief after her best friend was embraced and tried to kill her. Charity is a hacker plain and simple.

Ebenezeer Chillton - Head of the Chosen of Los Angeles. He is part of the Chosen Council who personally oversees the undead in Los Angeles one of the most active place in all of the world.

Lord Dante, Lord of Los Angeles - Current Lord Of Los Angeles who came to power fifteen years ago after successfully overthrowing and slaying the previous Lord, Lord Andrew. Dante walks a fine line, Los Angeles has one of the highest vampire populations in the world that comes from the abudance of transient people either from Mexico or runaways from other parts of the country that never seems to stop. Dante knows that unless tight control is held over the vampires of Los Angeles he too will lose his throne. This has made Dante a very paranoid and vengeful man.

Cassandra - Dante's closest advisor and sometime lover. She is a very ravishing woman with shimmering long black hair and seductive green eyes. Comes from an old and revered vampire bloodline that goes back to Rome.

Devlin D'Valaria - Dante's Chief of Intelligence, he was also Lord Andrew's Chief of Intelligence, and the twenty other lords before him. Devlin has been in Los Angeles since the early days, his knowledge of the city is unmatched.

Celestine Blanchard - Devlin's Chief Investigator, essentially a vampire detective.

Lord Andrew - Former Lord of Los Angeles, was the Lord during the Go-Go 80s. He ruled with a light hand, times were good and nobody thought of rebelling. Then the Go-Go 80s came to an End-End and he wound up Dead-Dead at the hands of Dante, the current Lord.

Detective Jenna Wilcox - Overworked Homicide Detective, gets tangled up with the Chosen when she investigate a masscre at an apartment building in Van Nuys.

Detective Melinda Esperanza - Jenna's equally overworked partner. Melinda is more of a spiritualist than Jenna. Melinda is also more graceful than Jenna, forever the good cop. Black hair and seductive black eyes.

Dr Kevin Arculeta - LA County Deputy Coroner, real wise ass. Short thin wirey Hispanic man. Is an extremely skilled coroner, very detailed. Iron stomach, can eat during an autopsy. Does almost all of Jenna's autopsies with a very skilled eye for the unusual.
