| Another large gerbil, this one is about the size of a rat (20cm/ 8in). It's coat is a light sandy-grey colour and is course and think. The feet and hairy but the soles are naked. It's tail is hairless and rather short. In the wild it is found across an extentive range covering China, Mongolia and part of Russia. | ||||||||||
