My first falsies cost �35. I saw a postage stamp sized advert in a Sunday newspaper for Cover Girl who were based in London. I was 19 and drove up to the "Big Smoke" and spent the first hour walking pass the shop entrance a dozen times before I could pluck up the courage to go in. My falsies were a little like the ones in the photo below.....ironically it was also called the Crop Top. Made out of hard rubber it covered the entire chest and extended as far as the naval with a turtle neck seam covered with a cheap paste necklass. The breasts were rock solid . . I burnt my bra and my original crop top 10 years or so later. |
