I don’t know how I’ve live my whole life without this human—purr purr purr—wiggle wiggle—so good. The funny human seems to have figured out exactly how I like my belly scratched.
“You are funny cat,” he suddenly informs me.
I roll back over to stand, “meow,” I inform him that he is a funny man.
We stare at each other until he reaches to pet me again.
“Zelenka, what are you doing to my cat?”
“She likes her middle rubbed.”
“Yes, she does.”
He reaches out to scratch my chin—I think I’m in kitty heaven.
“Also, chin—she is very needy.”
“Also very distracting—get back to work.”
I meow my protest when I’m scootched out of the way for a laptop.
I tentatively step onto his lap—this is a dangerous concept with my human—he usually dumps me onto the floor—funny human is calmer. I lay my head against his middle and sigh contently as it turns out to be a comfy place to sleep.
