Author's Notes:  Wow—One hundred fics from the perceptive of a cat—certainly makes life interesting.

It takes me a full day to scout out my human’s room—it’s different than home—less messy—no bits of food left for me to nibble.

The next several days are spent locating the best spot to sleep.  I elect for the exact middle of the bed, but my human doesn’t like that very much—he smooshes me when he lands stomach first—I’ve taken to sleeping on his back then.

After that, I spend day after day secretly exploring this place they call Atlantis.  I don’t think anyone realized that I could open the doors.  I’m supposed to stay in my human’s room, but did he seriously think I would stay confined.  This place doesn’t offer much for a cat—no great sleeping places—no hidden food stashes—it has only the potential of exploration.

On the 26th day, a man with glasses and funny hair picks me up.

“You are not supposed to be here.”

I meow at him—letting him know that I am a cat and I may go as I please.

“Yes, you are definitely Rodney’s cat.”

He holds me the way my human does.  He smells safe and I think I may grow to like this human.

He carries me—not back to the room--but to a place where my human is yelling at people.

“I think this is yours.”

“Violet!”

I stare at him, daring him to be upset.

He takes me from the fanny man, “You know you’re not supposed to leave my room.

I hear several people snicker in the back ground.

On the 27th day, I sit on my human’s neck—staring down anyone who dares laugh.
