Author's Notes: Wow—One hundred fics from the perceptive of a cat—certainly makes life interesting.
I really wasn’t sure why my human had been prattling on about being on my best behavior until I was let out of my carrier onto a cold metal table.
People are staring at me while my human rambles about why I need to come with him to someplace called Atlantis.
I slink across the table—I’m looking good toady—to smell the female sitting at one end.
She reaches out a hand to me and I hesitate before letting her touch me. I purr dutifully—hoping this means that I won’t have to stay with that dreadful female anymore—the one that ignores me and complains that I snag her clothes.
“I suppose that anything that keeps you calm can’t be a bad thing.” The other man in the room finally speaks.
I give him my best evil look I don’t like his tone.
The woman laughs, “John, I think you’ve met your match—yes, Rodney—you can bring her along.”
My owner scoops me up and holds me to his chest. Apparently, I get to go to the place called Atlantis.
I purr for him—excited that we get to be together again—he better bring my favorite treats.
