Author's Notes:  Wow—One hundred fics from the perceptive of a cat—certainly makes life interesting.

I usually don’t like to demean myself by playing with toys—I get overly excited and my human laughs.

This one is different, though.  It has three corners that I can scratch my chin on and it lights up when I bat at it—the best of both worlds.

My human doesn’t laugh at me—instead he calls my funny human over.

“She can make it work.”

I don’t know what the big deal is—it’s just a light up toy.

“Amazing—we should get Carson.”

“Carson is not touching my cat.”

I purr louder—I like it when he gets protective.

“But you will let her play with untested Ancient device?”

He quickly snatches the toy away from me.  I look at him with wide eyes.

He pets me, “I’m sorry, sweetie, but this could be dangerous.”

The man with greasy long hair enters the room, “Are you done playing with that dumb creature so we can get this meeting started?”

I bristle and hiss at him—I know when I’m being insulted.

“Good, Violet,” my funny human congratulates me.

“Oh, I haven’t even begun to play with the dumb creature yet.”

The greasy long haired man is in for some trouble now—I smile.
